It was hard to hear him cry. Really hard. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as some of the horror stories I have read. And I hate to jump the gun and say it worked, but after he fell asleep, he slept until 5:30am! I then fed him at 5:30am and he slept until 8am!
And the best part? When I went in to get him this morning he was so smiley and happy. I swear he was even happier than usual. I think a full nights rest did him good.
I'm amazed, really I am. I just hope it wasn't a fluke. It's supposed to take 3-5 nights. I'm praying it doesn't take as long for him to fall asleep tonight.
Now I'm off to enjoy the day with my happy little man :)
